If you won’t go to the festival, the festival will hunt you down anyway. Melbourne taxis are now mini-cinemas, perhaps to divert us from the driver’s interesting manoevers on the road. But what happens when you have to get out before the end?

Imagine a festival of very short films to enjoy the next time you catch a taxi…

OPENChannel, along with City of Melbourne, Australian Film Commission, Film Victoria and support from Touch Taxi, The Monthly Magazine, Federation Square, Australian Centre for the Moving Image, OPENChannel and lab.3000, is supporting this innovative festival to be screened in a cab and on the Square through 2006.
