Metro Screen film making it big overseas

Black Rain’ directed by George Barbakadze produced through Metro Screen’s Multicultural mentorship Scheme has been accepted into two more international film festivals.

The film will have its U.S. premiere at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival held September 5-14, 2006. The LA Shorts Fest, is the largest short film festival in the world. In past years, 23 participating films have earned Academy Award nominations, with 7 filmmakers actually taking home an Oscar.
