November 12 2007: Film Australia and the New South Wales Film & Television Office (FTO) announced today a call for applicants for their Hothouse scheme, following the successful pilot of the support program to develop the business skills of independent Australian documentary makers.

Hothouse 2008 will provide the selected recipient with up to $100,000 in direct funding, plus $50,000 in on-site production services, facilities, training and advice with particular emphasis on developing business and marketing skills. Additional support will be provided by the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and law firm Holding Redlich.
