15/15 Festival Director, Armadeo Marquez-Perez, will join the first Greenfilm Booze ‘n’ Schmooze for 2004 this Tuesday at Meyers Place in Melbourne.

The Greenfilm Booze ‘n’ Schmooze nights are bi-monthly events targeted at specific areas of the industry and aimed at providing information and insight to members and guests in a relaxed environment.

The 15/15 Film Festival, now in its fourth year, is a world filmmaking event focussed on providing filmmakers from the Australian and wider world community with an opportunity to produce and engage with the film industry.

The festival is divided into two main events: the Filming Day on Saturday 13th March 2004 and the Screening Festival which will run from May 21 to October 20 2004 at venues around Australia.

The Filming Day requests filmmakers to make a 15-minute film within a 15 hour time limited. The Screening Festival then provides an opportunity for all the filmmakers involved in the event to have their films screened in their local area.

Marquez-Perez will talk about the effort involved in bringing together a festival such as the 15/15 and provide information about the 2004 festival.

DATE: Feb 3
VENUE: Loop Bar, Meyers Place, Melbourne
