In the August meeting, Film Victoria signed off on $280,000 of script development money.

Seven feature film projects were supported to the next draft – Farkt (writer: Brian Jones), The Franklin River Blockade (writer: Nicholas Flanagan, producer: Stephen Amis, executive producer: Bryce Menzies), Love Motel (writer: Annie Hauxwell, producer: Carmel McAloon, executive producer: Bill Hughes), The Messenger (writers: Clara Law and Eddie Fong, producer: Sue Maslin), Paper Cuts (writer: Rohan Trollope), The Tumbler (writer: Chris Thompson, producer: Marc Gracie) and Weary (writer: Mac Gudgeon, producers: Pattie Wright and Dennis Wright).
