The Robin Anderson Student Film Awards will bring a bit of youth and energy to the State Theatre in Sydney next wednesday.

Rowan Woods will frock up to give the awards, while Margaret Pomerantz will command a bigger stage as host, and Bob Connelly will not be far away, probably carrying an organiser’s clipboard and mobile phone.

With 17 finalists from 100 entries, and screenings of the winners, the event should be a hoot and a fitting memorial to Robin.
