Film Australia welcomes Government incentives to grow documentary production sector

3 August 2007: Film Australia welcomed the Federal Government’s announcement today that the threshold for documentary production to access the Producer Offset will be lowered from $500,000 to $250,000 for programs of at least a commercial half hour.

Film Australia CEO Ms Daryl Karp said “It is pleasing to see that the consultative process has brought the documentary sector together to identify priorities and present a compelling case to the Government.”
