Advanced multimedia scholarship

Metro Screen and the Department of Education and Training’s Emerging Skills Unit is providing multimedia practitioners the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to this Advanced Multimedia course.

Applicants must have previous experience in multimedia, such as graphic and web design, animation, pod casting or streaming media.

The course focuses is on designing and developing content for distribution on various multimedia platforms and the advanced use of Flash, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro and Photoshop will be covered.

Participants will develop an initial concept and then work towards the production of a series of related platform-appropriate works. By the completion of the course, students will have gained an excellent understanding of creating animation through Flash, developing interactive online content using Dreamweaver and will have developed techniques to successfully compress and modify content for various multimedia delivery platforms.
