The ABC has never known what to do with arts programs – they are neither fish nor fowl, with the risk of pretty pictures and earnest droning interviews. We are delighted to report that the ABC is having another go.

The ABC sends out a nifty but occasional newsletter about TV arts, which tells us that

“Vulture has finally flown the nest and is swooping soon to a TV near you. This new weekly arts show will premiere on Tuesday 27th September at 10pm. Presented by Richard Fidler, exec produced by Guy Rundle, produced by Paul Horan, with programme producer Rachel Moss, field director/producer Jean Paul Tansey, editorial advisor Angela Woods and writers including Fiona Scott-Norman, Kerry Watson, Peter Salmon and Mark O’Toole, it promises to crash tackle the topical arts and culture issues every week.”
