We reckon the Walkleys are a rigorous bunch of judges. After all, good journalists are taught to be critical.  The Walkley Documentary Award went to Martin Butler, Liz Jackson, Bentley Dean and Tania Nehme for A Sense of Self, broadcast on the ABC.

It is a remarkable film, and very unusual for the Four Corners slot, because it dares to be so personal, with consummate craft.
