Kids' TV drama is a rare beast these days, especially in NSW, but as Northern Pictures' 'Hardball' starts shooting in Western Sydney, we talk to Executive Producer Catherine Nebauer about finding the fun as well as the money..

‘We’re surrounded by beautiful Lebanese biscuits and sweets and we’re trying not to eat them!’ says Executive Producer Catherine Nebauer of Northern Pictures on the phone to ScreenHub. She’s in Bankstown on location for a scene at a shop called ‘Sweet Yummy’.  It’s the third week of a twelve week shoot for Hardball, a new live action kids’ comedy series shot entirely on location in Sydney’s Western suburbs.
