A strange theory is abroad in cinemaland. 1999 is now twenty years ago, which is enough to provoke the opinion brigade to pontificate on the past.  The Toronto Globe and Mail, the Wall Street Journal, The Guardian and Den of Geek all claim that it was possibly the best year of all for movies.
