Getting into the US to work was a hot topic at a panel in the 2017 Screen Forever conference because it has become so difficult and so nightmarishly unreliable. Unsurprisingly, it was called A Reality Check on the USA and The Age of Trump. 

Protectionist Trump wants to defend American jobs and ex-producer and Ratpac financier Steven Mnuchin is now Secretary of the Treasury and a key supporter of his leader’s line. So any assault on foreigners working in Hollywood is no surprise.
