Two contrasting narratives are colliding to define the state of the sector for the end of 2018. Politically the situation is decidedly shakey as the ABC is in turmoil, the government keeps attacking it with reports, and we suspect the quality of programming decisions may have been corroded by the Venn Diagram Guthrie regime.
