Overseas media ownership: fly, meet ointment

Overseas companies which own chunks of Australian production and media are embroiled in their own ownership struggles.

At the moment we have a significant spread of overseas companies either owning Australian media outfits or putting up their own shingle here with a local enterprise. 

Hence we have ITVS, BBC Studios, Endemol Shine, FremantleMedia Australia, NBCU, Banijay and CBS, Sony Pictures Television, StudioCanal and of course Murdoch.
