Libs stare into policy void, can’t avoid complex decisions

Once upon a time, the ABC coverage of a federal election was held in the tally room, the front end of the counting area run by the Australian Electoral Commission. There was a constant buzz of excitement with crowds behind the announcers and a wait for the victor to claim the spoils in that very room.
