Producer Greer Simpkin is over the moon. ‘It’s amazing. It’s incredible. We’re absolutely delighted,’ she said from a location in the Kimberley where Bunyah Productions is shooting the TV series based on Mystery Road.

Simpkin is responding to the news that Sweet Country, directed by Warwick Thornton and written by Steve McGregor and David Tranter, won a Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. [The standing ovation at the premiere was captured by the enterprising Filmink].
