In its first week, Hotel Mumbai did $3654/screen. This week it was down to $2,316 on 273 screens. The loss of 35% took it down from two to four in the top twenty. That is a common drop, but this film can’t afford that kind of loss. It is now going to lose prime evening slots and hang around in the afternoon or late at night in many locations. So far it has made just over $2m.
