See? Tentpoles still rool – The Grinch, of course.

The ladder of triumph is stacked and immobile at the moment and will stay that way until December 26.

The Grinch is still on top, even in its third week, after making $11.3m, now on 363 screens and making an average of $7039 off each one. Spiderman has arrived and made $3.33m in a week so it is doing Grinch numbers but off 321 screens so its average is not as high. Creed 2 has made $7.21m in three weeks which is not an unpleasant amount of money.
