Box Office 15 October 2018: too much of a good thing in cinemas?

Ladies in Black is coming down to earth as a lot of entertaining films do okay but meh business.

Ladies in Black is under a million for the week for the first time after four weeks, at $913,000 and making an average of $2,907 off its 314 screens. It has now taken $9.27m. So it faltered on the final school holiday weekend in some states. But it has great name recognition and a lot of people still plan to see it. Will they actually go? Fingers crossed.
