iQiyi, owned by China’s biggest search engine Baidu, is said to be one of the top five online video networks in the country, along with Tencent Video and Mango TV, all aimed at the 800m netizens. With 500m active users, consuming 6 billion hours/month, iQiyi has been growing like a berserk forest, and ran an initial public offering last march in the United States which netted US$2.5b.
