The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras seems to have found a televisual home, to the statistical delight of SBS.

It is no secret that SBS2 struggles, so the broadcaster is very happy with the ratings for its Mardi Gras coverage. 205,000, with 137,000 from the five capitals and 68,000 from the regions.

At its highest five minute bracket, 426,000 tuned in, expressed as 285,000 metro and 141,000 regional.
