MIPTV 2014: Tim Worner gets award, remains firmly in control of the message

A regular of MIPTV/MIPCOM for 20 years, Tim Worner was awarded with the Médaille d’Honneur in Cannes by Reed Midem at a glitzy gala dinner on Wednesday, April 9. He explained to ScreenHub what it meant to him and what goals he intends to work on at next 20 MIP markets.

Launched in 2013 at the 50th anniversary of MIPTV, Reed Midem gives out the Médaille d’Honneur Award every April to four veteran moguls. Apparently, they pick senior international executives whose career was shaped by their attendances to the market, and rose through the ranks via the Croisette in a manner of speaking.
