Gale Anne Hurd surfaced at Screen Forever as the American producer responsible for both the original Terminator and The Walking Dead, along with thirty major productions in between. She has run productions whose budgets range from $200,000 to $200m, is a key exponent of science fiction as cinema, and a promoter of the American writers’ room system of development.
