Screen Australia: brains, democrats and a very appalling disaster

Screen Australia has opened its door marked international to get the kind of multiplier figures it likes –  five projects, $1.7m, and a total production spend of more than $6.8m.

Sharyn Prentice is in action with After the Wave: The World’s Greatest Forensic Detective Story.  Through Flaming Star Films, she produced A Thousand Encores: the Ballets Russes in Australia, Obsessed with Walking, and Tasmanian Devil: the Fast and Furious Life of Errol Flynn. Her most recent project is now in post production – The Cambodian Space Project: Not Easy Rock and Roll is produced by Richard Kuipers and directed by Marc Eberle.
