Ten pins its hopes on the Sochi Olympics. Did it work? And Dr Blake sniffs around Ballarat for a second series. Does it justify the hopes? What about the mortal combat between Australian dramas on Sunday night?

First, Dr Blake, because ABC drama is more than drama – it puts food on the sector’s collective tables.

As George Adams, the head of production and drama at December Media, explained on the phone, “We are happy because we have been off screen for almost exactly a year, and came back in pretty much as we left it, as if we had never been away.”
