Doubling screen subsidy would deliver eight times the income

Screen Producers Australia has teamed up with the Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association to light a new fire under contentious plans to increase the tax subsidy for television production.​

With the political changes of the last few weeks, the screen sector is taking advantage of what is technically known in lobbying circles as a sliding door, which has given sudden urgency to a long running campaign for change.
