ScreenHub has been fascinated by the appointment of Nihal Gupta ever since he first appeared in the public arena. He replaced Joseph Skrzynski, the chair with perfect credentials – Jewish, Polish, a post-war migrant child, cultured, serial chair of arts organisations, expert in both the Australian Film Commission and the Australian Film Television and Radio School, and a banker. And with bipartisan support.
