Oscars 2017 – Tanna pops up to join Lion and Hacksaw Ridge

Some key nominations for Lion and Hacksaw Ridge as field is flooded by La La Land. Pretty well as the pundits were suggesting. But Tanna is one out of the box.

 Lion is nominated for Best Picture so Emile Sherman, Iain Canning and Angie Fielder are now ready to roll. Luke Davies will be ecstatic about his nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay, while Kidman will know the routine already and Patel is poised in public. Greig Fraser faces off for Best Cinematography. Also in contention are Dustin O’Halloran and Haushka for Best Original Score.
