In Australia alone, Lion has taken $11.5m in eleven days. Box Office Mojo tells us that the North American result is now $19.752m, growing more slowly slowly  but hanging in. That is $26.15m in AUD, with a total around the world of AU$44.89m.

But that is too low because the Australian figure quoted is back at US$3.782m. It is a week behind for the UK figure – which is AU$2,072,380 off 369 cinemas at AU$5615/cinema.
