Hidden Figures is still on top in week two with $8.9m altogether, followed by The Great Wall with $5.54m on half the per screen average.

Lion is at number three after six weeks, gaining 33 screens to 322, losing 20% in box office over the weekend, drifting down to $4694/screen but with a total of $24,958,000 over the counter. That is surely more than anyone expected. It is now well ahead of La La Land, back on $19m after nine weeks. See, local passions count, as we see ourselves in the film. And to think that Transmission, the distributors, were confident of $10m.
