OPEN CHANNEL is thrilled to announce that Raw Nerve documentary short Lessons from the Night will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2009.

Written, directed and edited by Adrian Francis, and produced by Melanie Brunt, Lessons from the Night follows its subject Maia as she goes about her nightly cleaning round reflecting on life, work and toilet bowls. Lessons from the Night was produced through OPEN CHANNEL as part of the low-budget Raw Nerve Initiative – a joint venture with Screen Australia for emerging filmmakers.
