Applications are now open for screen directors living in regional NSW, regional Queensland and Western Australia (with preference given to regional applicants) to attend a two-day intensive workshop to further develop their screen directing skills. Guest speakers include Kriv Stenders (Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan, Red Dog) and Kingston Anderson (CEO Australian Directors Guild), the Documentary guest Director is to be announced.

Screenworks, in partnership with the Australian Directors’ Guild (ADG) and Linnaeus Estate Education Fund, is offering regionally-based screen directors an opportunity to connect with and learn from two of Australia’s most accomplished screen directors in a two-day intensive on the craft of screen directing.
Screenworks Directing Intensive will be held at Linnaeus Estate near Byron Bay on 24th – 25th August.
Entry to Screenworks Directing Intensive is by application. Applications will be assessed by Screenworks, the ADG and the relevant state funding bodies.
This is a rare opportunity to connect with and receive advice from prominent Australian screen directors and the ADG.
The cost to selected applicants is $250* or $200* for Screenworks Members (which includes tuition and catering).
*Selected applicants from regional Queensland, will be supported by Screen Queensland, selected applicants from regional Western Australia will be supported by Screenwest.
