This very night Ladies in Black, adapted by Bruce Beresford and Sue Millikan from the novel, directed by Bruce Beresford, produced by Sue Millikan and Allanah Zitserman, gets a wide release on Australian screens. The hivemind is not completely sure whether this is a national goer or a cult film for a specialised audience, but it is certainly has an interesting story, an engaging milieau, humour and a heap of craft.
