Melbourne is currently convulsed by the approaching Film Festival; with the 37South gang and the Accelerator people on the city streets, a lot of people have arrived from interstate.

They are always pushed for time, but a quick tripe to the Wallace and Gromit and Friends exhibition at ACMI would be a healing moment. Anyone staying longer would find the Talking Pictures series of events pretty fantastic. The lecture series from Wendell Thomas and Adrian Wootten are insightful and provocative. Don’t forget the Fulldome at the Planetarium – you won’t find that experience anywhere else in Australia.
