Shorts and animation lead Australia in dead year for Oscars

Both short film winners at the AACTAs are in serious contention for an Oscar, though only the actors hit the feature headlines.

The Eleven O’Clock, directed by Derin Seale, written by Josh Lawson and produced by Derin Seale, Karen Bryson, and Josh Lawson is in the ten film long list for finalists in the 2018 Oscars category for short films.
