Perhaps the most interesting festival this weekend started last night. The 2016 SciFi Film Festival, assembled by Dov Kornits, is running until 23 October at the Ritz Cinema in Sydney’s Randwick. You won’t have seen these films before, they are not loaded with space ships, and they assert the fun and power of a genre neglected badly in Australia.
