Applications open St Kilda Film Festival - Under the Radar Short Film Competition

The City of Port Philip Youth Services will be hosting an Under 21’s open entry category as part of the St Kilda Film Festival.

This category in the St Kilda Film Festival provides an opportunity for young filmmakers to show their work in an internationally recognised film festival. This opportunity will encourage young filmmakers to pursue their craft further and potentially produce future stars of cinema both in front of and behind the camera.

Proudly presented and produced by the City of Port Phillip, the Festival supports the Australian film industry by turning the spotlight on a wide range of fascinating works that may not otherwise see the light of day. Exceptional films by both emerging talent and short works by accomplished industry professionals are shown on the big screen, where they look their shiny best.

St Kilda Film Festival provides the most comprehensive overview of the national short film industry, screening a diverse selection of short films from around the country alongside a rich program of international showcases, special screenings and events plus Australia’s largest free Filmmaker Development Program.
