The South Australian Film Corporation was created despite expert advice that the corporation should not make feature films. Before we tell that story, an exhibition titled From a Sunday Too Far Away, opened in Adelaide last Friday, to celebrate the corporationís 40th anniversary. Dr V looks into the controversial tale of the creation of that iconic Australian film, Sunday Too Far Away, the Corporationís debut feature.
