MIFF 2012: Fredrik Gertten on the pain and hope of modern documentary by: David Tiley
Screen Hub Friday 17 August, 2012
Fredrik Gertten`s documentary Big Boys Gone Bananas is a fabulous tour-de-force on a craft level. It is also a nightmarish story for filmmakers, because it shows exactly what happens when a small production company confronts a massive international agribusiness corporation. David Tiley wanted him to reflect on the wider implications of the story.
