Drafthouse Films, the film distribution arm of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has acquired the North American rights to the restored version of Wake In Fright it will be shown at Film Forum in New York on Oct. 5 ,and at The Nuart in Los Angeles on Oct. 19, then expand to additional markets before a home video and VOD release in 2013. This is just the latest Australian / New Zealand acquisition for the company.
