We’ve had fun over the years comparing the Jury voted result with the popular. Now, all that has changed as you can see from our gaudy but handy chart. There are now very few overlapping categories.

I asked David Knox, who runs TV Tonight to comment. The jury-driven Graham Kennedy Most Outstanding New Talent award has become the popularly voted Graham Kennedy Most Popular New Talent Award, which opens it to wider range of people who may have no true comedic or dramatic talent at all. He is not amused.
