FremantleMedia snaps up Essential drama

FremantleMedia, the publicly listed international production company ultimately based in Germany has swooped on Sydney’s Essential Media and Entertainment to create a new drama outfit called Easy Tiger, to be run by current partner Ian Collie. It is part of Fremantle’s pivot from factual and light entertainment to develop a substantial presence in drama, fuelled by its success as a key international player.
