Queen rewards industry agitators, is caught in sexist contradiction

We can imagine how Tracey Spicer feels about being the only screen industry woman honoured by the Australia Day List.

The senior grades of the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for the screen sector consists of just three names – Graham Burke, Ian Darling, and Ian Robertson.

In the whole list of screen people there is just one woman, who is three rungs down as a Member or AM. However, Tracey Spicer is a truly great choice, straight from the local epicentre of the fight against sexism in the sector. She has been cited
