The Queensland government dropped a sweet bomb on Brisbane all the way from Los Angeles this week. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has now been to Hollywood three times in trade delegations to support the film industry. The itinerary and report for the last one, at the end of February, is here; as a result she agreed to subsidise the production of kids’ film Dora The Explorer to replace the feds who unaccountably dumped the idea.
