Mary Magdalene is perhaps the strangest film that See-Saw has put together, outstripping even The King’s Speech, about a weird old king who can’t help save the world because he has a stutter.

Garth Davis is directing, coming off the rush of Lion, working from a script by Helen Edmundson and Philippa Goslett with the Canning & Sherman & Watts producing team, also working through Porchlight.
