Pouring rain and freezing temperatures in Sydney – must be Sydney Film Festival time! Happily, the rain stopped on Wednesday night as hordes of filmmakers and film lovers queued up to get into the State Theatre for the Opening Night. As usual, the queues snaked in both directions up and down Market Street as actors, directors and producers posed on the red carpet, cameras flashing and smiles sparkling.
