The Curse of the Wig strikes again as Nicole Kidman is given a grey rug for Top of the Lake 2. But it looks a lot better than her previous infections by unfortunate prostheses.

The sole involvement of Australia and New Zealand so far in the Cannes 2017 film festival is an oblique but sweet tribute. Jane Campion and Ariel Kleiman are to be honoured by a screening of Top of the Lake: China Girl as part of the 70th Anniversary events program. The announcement does not state the length.
