Box Office 10 April 2017 – horned beast buries valiant Lion

Ugly fellers take heart – Disney has got your back, as long as you wear a jacket. For girls there is no such mercy. Image: Beauty and the Beast is harvesting the teenage audience. 

Including the international figures,Lion has made $177m, which is close to accurate. That includes $19.25m from the UK, and $14.18m from France, with North America contributing $68.43m. That is a stunning achievement.
