The past is watching, buster. Treat it carefully. Image: the original Bladerunner.

Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk will hit the world in July 2017 and feature heavily in IMAX, since it was shot in 65mm. It really is his picture – it was produced by him and Emma Watson through London company Syncope and he both wrote and directed. Nolan of course is Mr Batman and Captain Inception and Warp Controller Interstellar. This pic sets the duo loose to do their own work completely since it has no co-production deals either. Warners must have given them a fantastic advance.
